Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items upgrades are upgrade components which can be added to armors, weapons and trinkets in order to gain a bonus. They tend to be more expensive and require that the item is of an appropriate rank.
Items with very high requirements generally don't see any benefit in upgrading. This is especially the case for items that don't roll with a lot of variation like the eth titans.
Glyphs
When you reach the 50th level, Blizzard’s action-RPG moves from its simple campaign to the final game. This is the time when things start to change, with players pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons, and new grinds to ensure their character's building is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs play a significant role to this process. Glyphs' stats and impact radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are a variety of ways to obtain these upgrades, but the most common is through raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs allows you to add symbols to your text. You can choose from the menu on the left of the screen. It displays glyphs initially in the font where the cursor is placed but you can switch to another font or type style, and reduce the number of glyphs to a smaller subset by selecting an option from the options below Entire Font (for instance Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). You can view the CID/GID value as well as the Unicode value of any glyph by moving the mouse.
After you've entered some glyphs and then the Glyphs panel will keep track of the last 35 glyphs you've used, and make them available under the category of Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel to view all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by clicking on it using the right-click option or Control-click, and then selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
Another advantage of the Glyphs panel is that it permits you to create and modify a custom glyph set, which is useful when you have to write certain types of text often. This will save you from needing to manually insert each glyph when you need it.
A custom glyph set may comprise a maximum of 31 glyphs, including the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must include uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_), and other glyphs. The suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternatives. These are special variations which combine two or more letters into a single glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanic that provides extra bonuses on items, such as more stats. They are available in three types: rerolling, recycling and leveling up. Each type comes with a distinct set of extra bonuses to an item.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each preparation phase. item upgrade can be opened using Grab. Each blueprint comes with a distinct icon, and each category of upgradeable item having different icons:
The choice of a franchise card through the Blueprint Desk will allow you to purchase certain appliances or ingredients that are needed for certain recipes. Some Appliances and Ingredients are considered staple, which means that they are not available at the Shop or through a reroll. However, others have a higher likelihood of appearing if a certain Franchise Card is selected from the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in the pool for the rest of the run. The same goes for non-staple equipment. transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic truly happens. You can benefit the environment by recycling a product made of recycled materials. The majority of recycled items are returned to their original manufacturer to be remade into a new item. This is what we call "closing the loop of recycling."
When a person puts something into their recycling bin at the curb it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it gets separated and divided into its different components. Then it is offered to manufacturers at the end of the line to be transformed into something completely new. Remade products include:
This reduces the need to plant harvest, extract or extract raw materials from the Earth to create something new. This in turn reduces the amount of damage done to the natural world; fewer trees are removed and rivers diverted, as well as wild animals displaced. It also reduces the amount of pollution that is caused by dumping raw materials into our water, soil and air.

This is why every bit is important.
Leveling
Most units are able to increase their level, giving them more XP every time they attack or get attacked. This can be used to increase their primary stats, or unlock other upgrades in the unit's tree. Weapons are a good illustration of this, as they can be leveled up by increasing their damage and range.
